Chubbs has been pretty congested recently. Every time she walks around she basically snorts like a piggy, she's also been breathing from her mouth (which is very bad for cats). I was pretty worried that she wasn't getting enough air so I decided to take her to the vet for a check-up ( Read more... )

Awww, Chubbs. I doubt I will win the lottery anytime soon. However, if you decide to do the operation I'll donate some money ($20-ish or more...?) to the cause.

Hahaha, that's ok, I'm sure I can pick up the cost later this term. But keep it in mind if you do end up winning the lottery ;)

HEY! I am SO sorry that I effectively stood you up on Tuesday; I came down with what turned out to be a pretty horrendous cold on Monday that lasted for about a week, and then my cousins and nephew came, and all hell broke loose a little bit. I've been checking for you on AIM, but I haven't seen you :( and this is the first I've been on LJ since my Stressed Out Post of Dooooom.

Pooooor Chubbs :( Is the vet definitely going to check for polyps with a scope, or is that only if you don't like what you hear when you monitor her breathing?

Sorry I missed your SOPD, I wasn't really online the whole break (busy with decorating and stuff).

Chubbs is ok right now as long as the polyps don't get much bigger; her lungs are fine too.
