you know chris and i too. ;)

and just you wait until superlove the rescue!! is unleashed upon the world (vanessa and i spreading bliss with thrift store yamahas and casios, fingernaps and hand claps)!

i know what you mean though, man. we recently befriended a male ballerina/dancer/choreographer and saw one of his performances this weekend. it's always amazing to see art forms we ourselves don't really use, or use very often at least put to use eloquently and spectacularly. our friend ryan moved me to tears using simply the movement of his body. absolutely beautiful.

does vanessa know this man moves you to tears with his hip gyrations?
i do say, you've gone off the deep end my friend

Personally, musical ability has been what my art has been to other people. sheer fascination. I don't understand music except as a critique or for personal enjoyment. I can draw the gods down from olympus but don't ask me to sing them a song.

haha yes she does. she's into that though. :p

poetry often times lends itself well to song, simply add a little music and a melody to the words and there you are. for me, more physical art like painting, scultping, etc (and apparently dancing) are what really fascinate me when i meet someone who is proficient at those things. maybe those things aren't really more physical, but they at least seem that way to me. i'm sure to the painter, the paint and canvas feels like lung and breath or some such metaphor.
