Why did the theatrical release have to be rated PG-13?

Because I wouldn't have been able to stand up to walk out of the theater if it had been as KICK ASS as the Unrated Special Edition DVD; that's why!

please tell me that there is like a thousand more f-bombs in this version, cause really thats all it was missing.

There are many, many, many more f-bombs. That's what made it so much greater. They also show blood when people get shot.
