Do you ever feel compassion for the opposition? Tell me about it.

It depends on a few things. Who is the opposition? Can pity be counted as compassion?

Who is the opposition?
It can be anyone you perceive to have an opposing viewpoint or world view.

Can pity be counted as compassion?
Not really sure on that one. Compassion is more an act of love, whereas pity might be negative, even implying disgust. For example, you could pity a homeless teen, but do nothing for him/her. Or you might feel compassion for them, and maybe help them, give them a little money or help them find a place to live.

But either way, I'd love to hear what you have to say. Please, run with it.
