Repair her armor

Friend of mine found this and put it up on FB today. Thought I'd share, it's neat, and an eye-opener. I remember getting to a high level in Guild Wars 2 and ending up in this ridiculously skimpy armor, skin showing everywhere. I updated that to full body scale armor as fast as possible, so much more bad-ass. A great thing about that game is you ( Read more... )

Yeah...I was talking about how great GW2 could be in regards to armor, but I have to admit that it still definitely has its moments regarding female clothing. A friend and I have been joking that, in the human society for the game, power is directly proportional to displayed cleavage. I mean, look at this:

Third picture down? That's the Queen. Next picture shows members of the Order of Whispers, big group in the game. Just look at the chick out front. What the hell is she even wearing there? The guy standing next to her is wearing armor, but cleavage=authority, so I guess she can't cover up. A couple women like this I could buy, but seriously, it's all over.

Oh I'm familiar with Guild Wars 2. I have an account in that game. Honestly, I am not as bowled over by the queen's outfit as I am the starting outfits for the spellcaster classes. I don't know who decided that casting spells can only be effective in lingerie, but I am very glad that I can change the appearance of my armor in that game for a small fee (or nothing at all if you have the heritage stuff).
