Have you ever played Plants vs. Zombies? It's fairly casual and still cute. There's a music video, after you've beaten all the levels, that makes a lot of the hard parts worth it x10.

Yeah I have played that. It is fun and cute, though not quite the sort of thing I am looking for right now. I did have a great time with that one though :)

There's a pc game called Wandering Willows that's a lot like Animal Crossing... no house customizing, though. You can try out the demo on pretty much any casual website like bigfishgames and I think if you're a new customer you can buy it for $3. It's a really fun and cute game.

Recettear that was already mentioned is also a good choice. The Steam summer sale will begin soon and it will probably be 75% off.

As much as I'm a bit embarrassed to admit it, CafeWorld (on Facebook) is incredibly fun!

I am obsessed with Diner Dash. It may be on the more casual side, but as you earn money you get to upgrade your restaurant with cool stuff that makes it easier to keep customers happy.
