Run an "SFC /scannow" in your command prompt (you might have to do it as Administrator)

Sometimes .Net goes wonky. Uninstall every instance of it, reboot, reinstall, let windows update patch it, and then run Curse. You might need to uninstall/reinstall curse but I don't think you'll need to.
