possible yeast infection

I think I may have a yeast infection, but I'm not sure - I've never had one before. I have a couple of symptoms (itching, redness) but not others (no discharge or burning). I also don't notice it consistently - a couple times a day it'll itch quite a bit, but then the feeling fades for a while

OTC meds take longer to work, plus you can have residual discharge for a few days. I'd go to an urgent care doc, get a scrip for diflucan. Works SUPER fast.

I was able to see a doctor, so I figure I'll post here in case it could help anyone else in the future
