You’ll be fine missing a day of temps. The most important is that you take it at the same time every day, before getting up or moving around much. (Use your phone light to see temp if you need to :)

I never got the cervix thing. Can’t help with that.

Chunky creamy CM is non fertile. Egg white (clear, slippery, stretchy) is fertile CM.

okay, thanks! BBT hasn't changed since I started taking it(if you don't count the day I I did get up and sat in the bathroom to take it). Is it supposed to remain low until your period comes?

It should rise after ovulation and stay high until your period is about to come.

since i just started charting, it's hard to tell when I ovulated. so I guess I'll probably need to chart more to find out.
