Does my accent throw things too far, instead of politely proferring?
Do my glasses filter out too much, leaving me with incomplete sight?

Note to self: get haircut, enunciate, and get new glasses.

Also, I met Ann Lamott quite randomly the other day. I couldn't chat for long, but that's how reading books goes, too, right?

Yeah, I wish I could say I had some sort of wild celebrity moment where I realized a bunch of stuff about myself; really it was just a bit awkward as I was disoriented and such, but her new whatever she was publishing doesn't sound too bad.
