Stuff to read on Marvel Unlimited

Marvel Unlimited is Marvel's subscription-based digital comics service. It has an astonishing range of back issues available (as well as more recent issues) in an all-you-can-eat format.

What are the indispensable runs at Marvel? In rough order of importance, here are my top 10:

• Ditko/Lee: Amazing Spider-Man #1-38, Annual #1

I found myself wondering why I didn't include Gillis's Doctor Strange, and finally realized it felt off to list it without listing the Ditko/Lee run. So, really, consider them both listed.

Also, I haven't checked whether these are available, but the Gruenwald/Ryan DP 7 and the Gillis/Anderson Strikeforce Morituri were probably Marvel's best books of the late 1980s.
