While we were gone at DetCon1, I got an e-mail from Drew Breese Beebe, a reporter at Bloomberg TV, who had been assigned to do an article on comics to tie in with Comic-Con International (aka the Sandy Eggo Comic-Con). Towards the end there's a shot flipping through a book and it has a picture that looks a lot like you --coincidence?

Nope! That's from Doom Patrol #32 and I'm the model for one of the characters. The artist, Richard Case, became a friend of ours when he moved to a small town near Chapel Hill; a lot of the regulars at the comics shop ended up modeling for him.

It's awesome all around but I have to admit I'm particularly fond of the T-shirt Bernadette was wearing. :)

I wore it to work that day. Usually, that would be under-dressed, but not when my name is on the back. Also, indication they did good in actually letting me get away!
