Some overlap between your picks and mine: Sandman: Overture, The Wicked + The Divine vol. 2: Fandemonium (which I preferred a bit to the subsequent volume), Widdershins: Green-Eyed Lady, The Sculptor, and Astro City: Lovers Quarrel.

Though I have several volumes of Widdershins in electronic format (thanks, Kickstarter!), I still haven't read them. I wasn't crazy about "Lover's Quarrel"--I thought this was a good year for Astro City, but not a great one. (Now that I think of it, the issue told in random chronological order was pretty darn good.)

Widdershins is really, really good. The sixth arc, which fills in a lot of the backstory, just wrapped up, so it's a good time to catch up.

I was disappointed with the end of Lovers Quarrel (no apostrophe), and I certainly wouldn't say it's one of the best arcs ever, but for at least the first three issues I thought it was well above average, a nice character study of aging and how one particular "odd couple" relationship endures. Plus I have a soft spot for Crackerjack, and it was nice to have an arc which spotlighted him a bit.
