Well, the reason why I put salt on napkins is to keep the glass from sticking to it. I learned that on a cruise.... But, normally I would put it on anything that has condensation developing on the glass.... sodas, I would think, would do the same thing as the beer. Interesting...

Does the trick only work with glass? The sodas were in plastic cups, whereas the beer was in a glass bottle.

Um, I believe that it works with plastic, too, although I can honestly say I've never tried.

While I thought KD was still a pretty terrible actress this time around, I think she was at least sorta better than the first movie. So maybe by Spiderman 10 she'll be all kinds of good?

Yeah, the salt on the napkin is so when you pick up your beer, the napkin stays down. Though, I've never seen the waitress do it for you. I'd imagine it'd work for any wet container, but it's just really associated with beer for some reason. And not all alcohol, just beer. Dunno.
