Very beautiful and moving! It's sad to think that he probably died there after suffering from a hunter's bullet though.

I thought it might be natural causes....a hunter would've taken it, unless it was a stray bullet and he didn't realize he hit it? Anyway, it IS amazing!

Most hunters I know, assuming they hit it and it could still get away, would rather starve than live knowing the animal they hunted got away to suffer a slow death. Most track and track and track for days on end if they have to until they find the dead or wounded animal.

Well, I don't know about "most hunters you know", but the notion that hunters really care about animal suffering is simply a comforting fiction; most often told by people who have never actually gone hunting
