I've been reading far too much Dark Tower at once. I think that like the way it was written it should be read. I've started to absorb some of the mannerisms in the book into my life. Smoking in restaurants?
Is it allowed there? Banned? In smoking section only?
I'm curious, what you were argueing about :P

This year, in my province, smoking has been banned from -all- public places, including bars and restaurants.

I guess they decided non-smokers' rights to not die a horrible cancerous death outweighs the smoker's rights to smoke in public places.

Band in places where they serve food.

I was saying that if it's my restaraunt I should have the right to let people smoke in there. And even though it is a health hazard to others, they don't have to come to my restaraunt. Eating the crap in my restaraunt is a health hazard.

You could get around that by making it a membership-only place though I'm sure, and just have them sign a form (disclaimer), and hand them a membership card when they come in, heh.

Anyway, then it could be considered a "private" place, right?

Of course I know nothing about what I'm saying, I just think it could be a possibility.
