I'm not even going to buy his CDs anymore. If all he cares about is money, he's not getting mine.

And, eh, he probably thought he was above them all the whole time anyway. He probably thinks of them as old clothes more than he does appendages. =P

Well this is true. If he does only care about money (which now that you mention it, DUH, Emilly) then you're right about not buying his CD's and crap.

Or maybe he thinks they're like old dirty sneakers that, though once in style and the most popular thing around, are completely outdated and must be discarded or else someone may say something about Justin being 'unfashionable'.

That is actually a perfect analogy. They fit him at the time and helped him get to where he was going. Now that he's there, he thinks they make him look dumb and he wants new shoes that give him "street cred."

Forget the fact that, you know, they are human beings and are enormously talented and are versatile musicians that could probably create all kinds of different music. He doesn't see it that way, apparently, he only sees it as them being a "boy band" that will only hold him back. It's really sad, actually, that he's that narrow-minded.
