You know, I feel like my last few entries have been both sparse and a bit on the glum side.  Things can always be worse though, and despite having a job that I think hates me as much as I hate it, looking back I have actually had a pretty damn good summer. It has consisted mainly of bands, beer and castles in my surprisingly gorgeous home county,

awwww! looks like you've been enjoying yourself, muffinpuff!! I miss the purple, and the peacock blue, and the emarald green, and the hot pink.... but I must say you look healthy and happy EVEN with normal hair (to the extent your hair can be regarded 'normal').

Nice to hear you had a good english summer, guess the problem is not where you are but what you're currently doing... hmmm a friend of mine had a theory: he said there was 4 things in life that would never all go right at the same time
money, family, love and work

Aw I hate to disappoint love, but the only shots taken in my actual home town are the pub ones...! None of them are more than an hour's drive though.

My grandad was a sculptor by trade but he liked to paint as a hobby and was in lots of church exhibitions etc. He used to wander off on little country walks and drives and come back with sketches and photographs that he would then paint from. We've got a lot of his paintings up around the house, as has the whole Scott clan! I think I inherited his little collection of walking sticks, which are adorned with badges of all the little places he visited, and that I used to love to play with when I was a kid :-)
