OK so I have OFFICIALLY (I think) decided that I have had enough of all this English/Psychology etc etc junk and I am going to major in FILM STUDIES ( Read more... )

woah we are both having mid life crisises at the same time

i definitely hit that same roadblock of not enjoying a program and wanting to switch out (which is why im hopefully going to ottawa u next semester)

i bet film studies will be really fun! are you going to take it in bc still?

I am going to Ottawa U next term too! I'm still going to be a UBC student though, just a "visiting student" at Ottawa so I can figure things out for a term. We totally are going through the exact same thing.
It's goo d that you're switching so early if you aren't sure it's right for you, Aly. I definitely wish I hadn't wasted a whole year and a half just taking random courses with no direction. I hope it all works out fo ryou.

Sleep is not only a good band. but it is also somehting i like ot do. Hindering such process, as in the kind that is not weed-metal, is commetning on your Livejournal. But i love you and i love your livejournal. osme may call it your LOVEjournal. because that's wicked. and i would call it htat. so you're the director. and that is the best. I think you're right! I am QUITE excited about this. watching movies all day sounds like the best kind of school to me. Are you in film?

yep. i am in 3rd year (for the 2nd year...eeep!) at carleton. its a good program for sure! my only complaint is that there is no hands on stuff (working with cameras, learning anything other than theory, etc) but its still good!
