And what better way to share her macabre thoughts than over the entire phone network!]This is the second time I've seen my arm since I lost it. At least it's properly attached to me this time. Though I have to wonder if it's even my own arm...the one Koishi ( Read more... )

Take a small sample of the cells from each of your arms and perform a polymerase chain reaction test on them. If the resulting spectrum matches, it is your arm. It's feasible, I think, to construct an apparatus for that, given the knowledge we have; the materials might be difficult.

Not an arm.

Only an ear.

Then I definitely haven't accidentally stolen one of your body parts, unless I've somehow grown a third ear and just haven't noticed.

I have my suspicions that the arm I was recently given doesn't belong to me, so I was wondering if I might have accidentally taken someone else's.

[Coming up from behind!]

Ah, so you've fully recovered physically then?

Yes, I have.

[She holds up both hands.]

To be honest, I thought I'd have to spend the rest of my life with one arm.

[He's going to look at her hands and arms for a brief moment, gives her a small smile and then leans down to give her a hug.]

I'm glad to hear that. I was really worried how it will turn out, but I feel a lot more relieved knowing that you're better now.

[Her whole body stiffens, and she doesn't make any move to return the hug. vegeta what does the scouter say about her awkward level]

...Thank you for the sentiment.

Um... Can't we have some happier questions from you?

It is a happy question. Or at least, the implications are happy.

For me, anyway.

Well, that's who you are... It's still an awkward icebreaker.

That isn't my problem. It's not like I'm forcing anyone to answer.

Both of my arms are perfectly fine~! I'd think I'd remember if I lost them or not!

[pause]
....is some horrible monster stealing appendages?

wondering_eye March 13 2011, 04:41:33 UTC
I suppose you could put it that way.

[Isaac screams.]

This isn't good news! We must work to keep everyone safe from this horrible monster!

I must find Miriaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! I cannot rest knowing she's out there somewhere with a horrible monster on the loose eating people's arms!

[PULLING THE PHONE AWAY FROM HER EAR until he's done yelling]

I'd hardly call it "on the loose." Apparently limbs and other parts of the body are popular bartering tools at the post office.
