Yay hair! Haircuts are among the best forms of epiphany. I had an OMG-best-hair-EVER! moment the day before my birthday. It was accompanied by an "Oooh, shiny teeth!" moment courtesy of a thorough cleaning at the dentist, and meant I spent the entire day going "See my hair! See my teeth!". Which was good until I started checking them in my car mirror while driving. Hmm.
Ceramic hair straightners are amazing, I will agree. :-)
There's nothing better than a good haircut, instantly boosts your confidence. I have a horror of going to the hairdressers, due to a hideous lopsided cut a couple of years ago, but when it works out, it's great.
Re. the straighteners - apparently the secret with the GHD ones is that they heat to 220 degrees, so they instantly seals your hair without burning it. You can buy cheaper ones, just make sure that they can get that hot! I've got some Vidal Sassoon ones which were only £40, but they work just as well as my friends £100 ghds.
That sounds gorgeous! Champagne and everything! And Aveda lip glosses rock - I had a couple in my handbag when it was robbed last year (fortuitously minus my wallet, which fell out during the snatching), and found myself trying to explain to a large Kerry policeman that there were some lipsticks in the bag that I really liked, and no, you don't understand, do you, er, put down "items of sentimental value"....
My hair is in dire need of something at the moment itself. And, hmmm. I was paid today.
