I just adore Austria. I just wish I spoke German, because I feel like I'm missing such a lot. (And it's making the German keyboard on this computer even more difficult than it would otherwise be, because... man. All the letters are in the wrong place! The French one wasn't nearly so bad

Congratulations about the job!!! The fact that you got an offer so quickly is probably a sign you can go where you'd like for a job (although, personally, Scotland sounds lovely).

And I'm even more impressed by the Sound of Music Tour. Did you run around the fountain like Maria does when she's harping on about her confidence? Did you fall out of a boat in the name of cinematic moments? :)

And also, Pertisau, woo - I went through Jenbach (unless I'm getting my names in a muddle) on the train on the way to/from Innsbruck back in January, and wished so hard that I had the time to get off and go and have a look at proper real CS land. Jealous? Me?! Hee. Glad you're having such a good time! :-)
