Buuuut, on to my gifts and I really, really want to hug all my gifters for a truly beautiful set of interest icons. absolutelybatty - spot on current interest character + cap + style??? How? Love everything about the background and the text, plus that kind of centre crop and a lot of negative space - it looks like the Missy version of that Tinkerbell icon of yours I used for a really long time and still love to bits, so yay :D bella_farfalla - This cap has to be in my top 5 favourite caps - love that you picked it :D I also love what you did with the colouring, emphasizing the red of the apple and the blue/green overall gradient!! burntheflaws - Mindy :D I'm currently rewatching TMP so you're spot on here! Okay, backstory time: I was trying to do some "research" on people I was gifting, to try and gift them an icon that suited their most recent interests. So I saw the meme at W-S and was really, really excited when I saw you started Episodes. Because that show is amaaazing and I know maybe two or three other people who watch it, so I can never talk about it with anyone! But I forgot that the Episodes caps I'd requested on Grande Caps were no longer there, so, y'know, The Mindy Project. Still an excellent show that I was excited to make an icon of.
Anyway, tl;dr: W-S friending meme shows me the answers!
Also, while making the icon, and now looking back at it, I find it funny that there's a scenic, nature-y, elegant background while anti-nature Mindy's just chilling and eating a corn dog/hot dog in the foreground. Oh brain, you work in mysterious ways.

YES YES YES. It is absolutely hilarious. I loved Matt as Joey in Friends (pretty much one of my favorite characters ever), but he does such a great job on Episodes. I love all the little Friends references and yet the show is so different and snarky and full of deliciously borderline (and over-the-border) offensive humor. I can't wait until the new season starts.
