First Class

Last night was my first class with Cairo Fusion.  It was awesome!  It was actually the fifth class for the other girls, I guess Samira just let me in because she saw on my registration form that I had experience.  She was really cool throughout class and always treated me like an experienced dancer, not a beginner.

I already know a lot of the moves

I'll talk to her. You might not ever have to worry about having to talk to her again. Of course worrying about someone lighting your house on fire might be worse...

That is AWESOME that you're already in the first troupe! And please, if you got in that fast with their troupe, I expect you'll be in the other troupe in no time!

I'm sorry your old teacher is giving you so much grief. But you don't owe her anything. She abandoned you and your troupe. If she wants to get something going again, hey, great, but that doesn't mean you're obligated to start back. That's not fair to you AT ALL. And if she can't get that through her thick skull, I'll sure as hell send pirateday on her!

I'm sure I'll have to do a minimum of a season with the Echos before she would even consider bumping me up, but that's okay. I probably need the time to get into good enough shape and get used to performing again.

I've come to realize that Debi never understood that we quit. She thought that we were taking a break, which is why she was mad that we didn't keep practicing and wait for her to come back. She is now ready to come back, therefore, the break is over. That is what I really believe she thinks.

I thought I was through this breakup and coming out the other side. Turns out it hasn't even started yet. Oi. Cancers are not good with breakups!!!
