Well the reason it is *AD* is because it's After the death of Christ and BC because it is Before Christ, yeah we just learned that in school the other day. I don't go to church or anything but thats why so it wouldn't matter if we had an ice age or whatever. well ya there is my schpeil.

Well, if we all died because of an ice age or whatever...when people were reborn or whatever,...how would they have the knowlegde to know about AD and BC and stuff

Hm, they would probably find remains of some sort, like how did we really know that christ was alive?
