So, yesterday I hosted a DnD meet for Andy's new campaign where we are all level 25 and on the elemental plane of fire. It's kinda fun. However, Mike called me that morning(ish) and asked me what I was up to. I told him about the DnD meet at 3:30 and he asked me if he could come. I didn't want to say "No Mike. We hate you." So instead I told him to ask Andy, who I figured would say no because Mike serves as such a huge distraction during meets - even when he's a member of the party. Mike called Andy and called me back in about an hour saying, "Andy says it's okay that I come watch! I'll see you soon!" It was about 1:30 when he told me this. Mike arrived around 2:00 to 2:30 and promptly demanded entertainment. I hadn't even eaten lunch yet so I made myself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich while I parked him on my laptop - which he made fun of to no end and seemingly with no stopping him.
"God this is slow!" "Piece of crap!" "See this? My computer would have been done, like, now." I explained that it was just a little laptop (state of the art when my parents got it for me last christmas) and he promptly explained that his was too. *sigh* So, after he downloaded 5 or 6 episodes of Red versus Blue (funny Halo movies that have nothing to do this political standpoints) and a few other flash shorts, Andy finally arrived with the 3 other players.
The game went fairly well and food went extremely fast - how do they eat so much?! My cheddar bunnies were going to last me a week or two but the whole box vanished in 5 minutes! I don't blame them, though, I was the one who brought them out for eating.
Mike said that he was going to leave at 6pm. Andy's crew had planned on leaving at 8pm. Andy's friend, Sean, vanished at 7:30 or 8 because his mum came and got him. Andy's cousin, Chris, was taken home around 8 or 8:30 by Andy and Mike. When Andy came back, he announced that he and Allen would be going home at 9:30 because Allen needed sleep for school the next day. At 9:35 I reminded them of this proclamation and Andy asked if I was "kicking them out?" I bit my lip and said that, yes, I was kicking them out.
Mike called me earlier this week, asking me about my plans for Halloween. Since I had none, I told him so. He suggested that we throw a party at my house (since the last one went so well, I suppose) but I quickly explained that this would be impossible since my parents are home now and would about pass out if I threw another rather large party. (7 young men in my house all at once is a rather large party, you see, because they make rather large amount of noise and garbage.) So he thought that we could throw it at Jeremy's instead. I told him to call people and ask around (since I didn't really want to) and he promptly hung up and began calling.
The party is this Saturday, and it will apparently be a costume party so I need to find a costume. I don't know if Andrey is invited or if they want him coming at all so I am going to ask Jeremy (since it is at his house) if I can bring him (in costume, of course.)
This Sunday is Andrey's DnD meet, as it is every Sunday. But Andy's DnD meet also falls upon this day because, you see, this Sunday is Andy's birthday. So now I am torn!
1. I have a well developed and complex character already off and running an Andrey's campaign and this Sunday will be very exciting indeed!
2. This is technically Andy's birthday party! Birthday parties always come first but... Mike has joined our campaign so it will be very noisy and rather disorganized and we probably won't get a whole lot done. But it is still Andy's birthday!
I just don't know what to do!
Andy is my friend and I want to celebrate his birthday.
But Andrey is also my friend (a little more than that, actually) and his DnD meet has always been Sunday which, until now, Andy has always thoughtfully rescheduled around.
I can't ask Andy to reschedule his party, however, because it's his birthday party.
Oh how I wish I could be in two places at once...
Well, I'm going to pop off because Andrey will be here around 4 and I haven't showered yet.
Oh yes, one more conundrum I have is my bronze casting class. I don't want to go but it was so expensive for my parents that I would feel badly if I never went. Plus, my first two bronze pieces have already been cast and I should probably get those...
