dry cleaning advice

I have never had anything dry cleaned, even the "dry clean only" stuff. I usually just gently hand-wash it. The different colors might be bitchy with hand washing though, as she says, they could run. I would try one more dry cleaner, and if they say the same thing, I'd go for spot-washing it with a damp cloth and at most, Woolite. At that point, what would you lose, since the pros won't touch it and it's dirty, you may as well try. But no full-dunking if you're not sure the colors won't run -- spot clean only I'd guess, not too much rubbing or you'll fade the color and the spots will just get bigger.

Good luck, good clothing is so hard to maintain sometimes.
