So...opening night is over and done with. I guess I can be pleased with what happened, but...I'm not elated. It wasn't the best show, but it wasn't terrible either. We just have a lot of technical kinks to still work out. But, the audience was great, and I'm so glad that I knew so many people there. So, for the past few days, everytime I wake up my throat feels absolutely terrible and scares me half to death. Regardless of if I wake up at 9:30 or 2:30, I still need the entire day to sort of "wake up" my voice. It's very strange, because by the time rehearsal rolls around, I am fine *knock on wood*. Ok...me being sick for this show is not really an option. It cannot happen and it will not happen. With that being said...either other people need to not be sick anymore or I need to make some concsious decisions. I hope for the former, for, I'm not very good at the latter.
