Elisabeth Sladen, who played Sarah Jane Smith on Doctor Who and later on her own show, is dead. Gallifey One just announced it on Twitter.

I'm in shock. I can't believe it's true. She was 62.

I didn't even know she was sick. This feels like it came out of nowhere. Then again, I suppose it always does.

Yeah, I heard it from Paul Cornell's twitter, and when I looked it up there, the top tweet was about how it was a late April Fools, but it was being confirmed everywhere, and I am very very sad.
