So I'm catching up on New Girl (it is delightful, by the way!), and I know I recognize the girl playing Desiree from somewhere, so I imdb'd her and you guys! It's Becca! Becca from Huge! She was my favorite! Aw, now I miss Huge. This on the same day that Terriers was made available on Netflix Instant, another canceled-too-soon show from that same ( Read more... )

Hellooooo, post marketed right at me! I've heard about Huge before, but now that the FNL comparisons have flown I'm curious.

I'm still thinking about the Midori Sour fight. How something can start off so serious and transcend such heights of absurdity while still sounding just as angry is some kind of magical feat or something. <3

It has a similar sensibility, and I do think it's a very good show, though I must admit it is very hard to equal FNL. But it is only ten episodes long, and very lovely.

FAVORITE NEW SCENE? The best thing is, I am not even sure! Nick chasing Schmidt around the table also had me rolling, as did Schmidt squeezing the conditioner out of Nick's hair (his little gasp when Nick says he used it as shampoo!) and I now love Winston.

"You're such a tonkle!"
"Wow, hold it! Ain't nobody call me a tonkle!"

Between his unemployment angst and apologizing to Jess on the others' behalf, I've loved Winston since the wedding episode, though I've also spent half the episodes since then wailing give him something to doooooooo! So yay. =D

But omg the Midori Sour scene...yeah, new favorite, I think. IT JUST KEPT GOING.

He hadn't made much of an impression on me yet. I liked him okay, but least of the three. No longer true.

I really enjoyed the more serious scene between Nick and Winston. Here are two guys who thought they were going to do great things, and instead they're just living life. Hilariously. But it was suddenly very easy to relate to it. I pretty much enjoyed everything about this episode, it might have been the best yet. I didn't even know bells could be played that well!
