A Heaping Helping of Whatever
I know this is my first post in quite some time AND it was written quite some time ago, but, whatever.
I'll dispense with my usual explanation of reasons and just skip ahead to my entry, no one reads this blog anyway, so, whatever.
Before I went home to visit my family for Easter, I was asked by my mom to stop into one of the religious supply stores that infest the area I live in.
She doesn't know I'm an atheist and does NOT know my generally overwhelming opinion that very little good has EVER come from religion, but again, whatever, sometimes you do things you don't really like for family.
So I swallow back down the bile in my throat and go in. I'd have to say the experience was quite irritating. Those cultist fanatics really go overboard, especially in the books section.
Risking detonating like when matter and anti-matter combine, I made the mistake of opening one of the books selected randomly from the rows of shelves
I instantly lost any hope that humanity will ever outgrow it's inane "need" for religion AND realized that society is doomed at the same time.
Religion, in some way shape or form, WILL kill us all.
Of this I'm now sure, but whatever, it's their right to be able to believe in whatever they so choose. I can respect your choice, I just don't have to like or accept it.
So, I have a message for all those who follow a religion and TRULY BELIEVE in what it says: You people are IDIOTS.
This is not a debate, this is an ABSOLUTE STATEMENT from ME.
I don't want to hear any replies complaining about how I have offended you, you may have the right to follow you religion, but you DON'T have the right to NOT be offended and I intended to offend.
I don't want anyone to come crying to me about how "my religion isn't like the rest". I. Do. Not. Care.
Do NOT attempt to explain why you believe the way you do or why you have been brainwashed into thinking what you believe blindly in (aka having "faith"). I will delete your comment and condemn you to the lost causes of mindless, gullible people who waste my air.
If you disagree with me, good. I have but one thing to say to you; Whatever.
