Oh, as an update, Meeka has actually just started her cycle up as of Friday (12/7) and is well into her pre-estrus flow. She should be in standing heat around the time I go home for Christmas which is the WORST possible time imaginable

That sounds like a tough problem.
My room mate is apparently going to get a lot of his dogs tide so that we don't have to deal with the problem of juggling certain dogs away from each-other as much we normally have too.

Sorry, I use "tied" for a short hand version of a proper vasectomy. In a true vasectomy they are suppose to cute and tie the tubes for male and females. I've heard the same thing before about only tied tubes.

For the partial spay do they just take out the ovaries?
