what's the accepted length of time between jeans washes. Cause I know t-shirts/undies/socks, they're all on the wear once and wash system. Which is fair enough, a shirt may sometimes get a second wear in extreme circumstances. But my jeans...well, they're on about a month and still going strong...i think i could probably milk it for another 2 ( Read more... )

you need to update more often...ur funny.

as for the jeans...dont wash them till they get a stain/start smelling/start standing on their own/get to stretched out/only if you feel like it. washing jeans isnt necessary. its like a choice. like...do i want to brush my hair today? you have to brush your teeth, but you dont have to brush your hair. haha.

as for the pillow case, it prolly attacked you so you threw it. you beat up a pillow case, good job! ur pillow doesnt need ur intimacy...you drool on that thing!

Your asking too many questions. Your young and curious, but it's no excuse. Don't you think that if we were supposed to know the time between washings of jeans, we would? You want a scientific awnser, dont you. You want someone to just come on here and say "The specific time between washes for jeans is X days". Well Donovan, I cant do that. I'm sorry, but it's time for you to realise that this world holds many secrets, many of which we will never know. Jeans are mystical things, science shouldnt meddle with them and neither should you!

My friend Jake wore his jeans for 6 months once... and then had to buy a new pair because he couldn't wash the stink out. To be fair he wore them 24/7, he was homeless.

I usually wear mine for 2-3 weeks at a time, or until my mum picks them up off the floor and washes them, because i'm a dirty tramp.

Well, homeless guys sure get more jeans for their dollar....or pound... or whatever.

I knew a homeless guy once, he always wore different clothes...im not sure where he got them from.

The homeless guy i knew always wore the same clothes. he used to come round my house for showers. he'd developped the amazing power of stinking out a room, as i found out when i let him stay round mine once.

nope. I say dont wash them> wear every stain like a badge of pride, i think the more crap on the pants, the more equiped you are to handle a situation in which you may be stuck in a desert without any food. it makes sense. you're doing yourself a favour, and you should encourgae everyone you know to do the same!

you mean to tell me that i'm the only person who washes their jeans once a week? woah, this is a minority i would have never imagined i'd become a part of...

okay, so denim does have some very magical properties, but it is still a normal kinda item of clothing... it does need to be cleaned, regularly....
