Ooooh I'm very jealous. For a while the paper I worked at was talking about sending an embed to Iraq for a brief period. We ended up not being budgeted for it -- and beyond that, several of my colleagues had a military background, so the paper would have been unlikely to choose me. But I was pretty excited about the possibility. Keep your head down and, um, be nice to people.
