You know that's probably not legal, right? Most areas have "no campaigning within x yards of a polling area" statutes...

In fact they're not supposed to let you near the polling place (100 feet at ours) with a button, t-shirt or any other political gear. Much less a giant 10-foot sign.

i asked the sweet obama campaigner when i voted- they can campaign within 10 feet and have signs within 25 feet. it was within 25 feet of the school so it's ok.

it's funny that the mccain peeps were right at the entrance of the gym inside thrusting "sample ballots in my face", but the obama dude (and his cute pre-teen son)stayed outside and were pretty chill.
