Rock-type attacks are super-effective against flying, but be careful, because ground-type attacks do no damage at all. I believe you can find Geodude in Dark Cave.

Yeah. I knew about Rock being good against Flying and Ground being useless, but I didn't know there were wild Geodude nearby. Thanks.

I found mine in a different area; Dark Cave might not be the only place though it is the only other one I've heard of so far.

Off of Route 29 there is another route, Route 49. I accidentally wandered onto it and found my Hercule there. I am not certain where it leads because I turned back as soon as I discovered my mistake.
