Y'know, a lot of the stuff published in early science fiction magazines were pretty schlocky stuff. If you don't believe me, there's a lot of it stored on the Gutenberg Project.

Oh yeah, I know that. I assumed (wrongly), that stuff on Librivox would be weeded out for that sort of thing. After all, you have to find volunteers to read it. But I suppose some people do like schlock.

Laughs, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised by it in a world where people get all misty eyed over "Strawberry Shortcake", but when I am nostalgic for Sci-fi it's Heinlein and Norton, Niven and Simak.
