CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS

character relationships.

Mizuno Ami - Sonic could have gotten along all right with Ami, though she's a bit direct. Not that stuff like that ever bothered him. However, he ended up doing something really stupid: spitting coffee all over her. After she gave him a scary look, Sonic's decided to avoid her.

"If you're a good warrior, it shouldn't matter the form you're in."

Kurosaki Ichigo - Sonic learned his name from Inoue Orihime, but hasn't yet put two and two together. The two have promised to have a good race someday; something Sonic is REALLY looking forward to!

"Sonic."

Cheryl 'Heather' Mason - Sonic was the first to speak to Heather when she arrived. He sees that she's a tough girl (tougher than most he knows) and he respects her for that. Deciding that he wants to make her smile more than frown, he hopes to be a good friend to her. He hopes they can chill sometime.

"... Heh... No one else can pull off those shoes."

Liquid Snake - Sonic met this guy when Liquid decided to shout DEATH CRIES at Big Boss, and nearly destroyed the once-hog's hearing. Sonic and Liquid had a long argument about whether killing one's dad was wrong or right, which eventually ended in Liquid ignoring Sonic; for good reason. He's annoying! Sonic doesn't particularly like Liquid, but isn't ready to leave him alone, as Liquid reminds him too much of Shadow.

"You're an idiot. At any rate, it'll be fun to see you outrun my gun once I get it fixed."

Shijima - The very direct, very formal and very orderly girl that Sonic spoke to on the network. She's kind of cute, he thinks, despite how very forward and rational she is. If he knew how old she really was, he'd probably freak out. Still, she's nice to him and he respects anyone that has good humor. Breaking her brain is very fun.

"Hedgehogs do not wear shoes."

Kazuhira Miller - A womanizer, but a fun guy. Sonic's too immature for girls, so he's got no problem ranting about Amy to Kaz, except when Kaz asks him questions that make him flail around like the teen he is. Sonic wants to plan a Halloween event with Miller at some point, and he's very much looking forward to this.

"Seems like what doesn't kill you makes you cockier."

Big Boss - Sonic spoke to Big Boss when the soldier sent a message to the network. To Sonic, Big Boss comes across as a grumpy old guy, thus why Sonic calls him "Big Grump" rather than his true title. From just talking to him, Sonic can tell that the man's pretty orderly- at least, he is in speech. The teen almost had the urge to salute while speaking to him. He hopes to chat him up more in the future; at least to report progress on mission: MAKE FRIENDS WITH EVERYBODY.

"It's 'Boss'. Not Grump."

Jim Raynor - One of the first few people Sonic contacted while browsing the network, Raynor's a big tough guy, and Sonic's not the least bit intimidated by him. The gruff exterior reminds him of his rival/friend Knuckles, and since Raynor hasn't tried to punch his face in yet, Sonic doesn't seem to think he's got anything to worry about. Sonic likes to talk to the guy, and has super respect points for letting him just down his coffee-- though some warning of how it would taste might have been nice...

"Hey, that's premium grade coffee! Best there was on the Hyperion!"

Swoop - Sonic spoke to Swoop when the police force advertisement popped up on the network. Endeared by Swoop's kind personality and dialect, Sonic quickly made friends with him. The man's much older than he is physically, but that doesn't deter the once-hog at all. He's looking forward to some good times with his new friend.

"There reason we here, so Swoop figure out. Help people. Is not so bad here, maybe."
