tragedy strikes the life of kristen

On Thursday, March 25 at about 2:15 (?) my cell phone lost it's life.  It is most likely dead at the bottom of the ocean ( I lost it at the beach) or in the belly of a whale.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you send Kristen sympathy cards, and your phone number.  Thank you for being near me during this time of grief.

if you'd please, a moment of silence.

i talked to the folks at cingular today, they've folded an american flag in honor of this tragic event- it will arrive in a keepsake box in 6-8 weeks.

We need to bury my old phone staringattheson March 26 2004, 00:14:08 UTC
In memory of yours, I say we find a good place and bury mine (the grey Kyocera one). Either that or we can put in on a piece of cardboard, set it on fire, and let it drift out to sea with your phone. On another note, I have an old Nokia (you know, the original ones where they had all the crazy changeable faceplates) from a LONG time ago. And when I used to use that one, I was on cingular. Of course, it's so old, I'm not sure they'd be able to hook up service to it. But if you wanna give it a shot, the phone is yours. Let me know.

Um, I need to get your address (home address) somehow because I am sending out support letters for project. If you want to send one here to my parents, let me know and I can give you my address as well. I was gonna call everyone tomorrow and see how things are goin as well as get their addresses, but I guess I can't do that now :( . Anyways, maybe you can email it to my calpoly address or something. Hope, other than this tragic day, that you are having an AWESOME spring break. See you Sunday

Andrew you just might be a lifesaver. Do you think you could bring that phone down to school with you so I could give it a shot. The thing is I'd only need it for about a month until I can get my 'free' upgrade, so I would just buy a new sim card and do that thing. Let me know, buddy! Happy last few days of Spring Break!

I am gonna have to find it, but I think it just might be buried in the confines and cobwebs of my car's glove compartment.

ONE BAD THING KRISTEN. Found the phone. Even better, found the charger (which I thought might have been thrown away). Bad news... the phone seems to be dead. I won't charge, turn on, anything. This is probably what happens to phones after they haven't been used for 2 years. I'm not sure what you want to do. My guess is it's just a battery problem, but I kinda doubt you'd wanna buy a new battery for just one month. Brian made a suggestion. Go without a cell for a month. AHHHHHHHHH. I know it sounds horrible, but it WOULD be cheaper. I'll bring it alone with the charger to SLO, and you can take it to cingular and see what they can do.
