Okay, I admit it. I was up way past my normal bed time finishing the new Potter book. It was worth it. At 11:00, I thought to myself, "I can finish this by midnight." Then midnight came and went, but I was at a point where I just couldn't bear to stop.

Gah, we have to wait another 2 years for the next one?

for completely practical reasons - i.e., it's freaking heavy - I read the first chapter, then left it at home. but I got to amsterdam and had an inspiration - I bet someone's scanned it and has it on bittorrent.

And they have. And now it's on the laptop. And the only downside - in the process of doing a Google search, I came across spoilers in the TITLE OF A FREAKING webpage. And I'm now working as hard as I can to put said spoilers out of my head so I can read the damned thing on the next flight...
