I just set up a surgery date for my knee, October 24 (a little over three weeks away). I'm leaning heavily towards using an allograft (cadaver tissue) rather than using a tendon from my own knee. I'm haven't officially started PT, but I talked to the athletic trainers here at the mothership, and have been working on exercises that they've recommended to strengthen the injuried leg. It doesn't help that it's my off leg (and has always been weaker... probably contributed to the injury, if I had to guess).
