I value language. A lot! When I read a statement made by someone who is a writer, or writes in the publishing industry, or seeks to affect the publishing industry, I assume...which is reasonable in this case...that they have chosen their words to convey the meaning they seek to share.

Since no such books exist, and are not likely TO exist, these brilliant persons-of-academic-lettering suggest that no one should do ANY reading next year. THat apparently includes their own works, since I have seen no examp0les that qualify, no9r do I beloive such a work would be believeable. I won't pay for rfiction so fictitious I can't possibly suspend disbelief.
