A thought about the Time Agency

I was watching Girl in the Fireplace with my mother this evening and I had a thought about the time agency.

I have actually spent a lot of time thinking about this, because I'm a bit obessed when it comes to the 51st century. I'm all on board with the SS Madame de Pompadour having been a Time Agency experiment, perhaps in case there needed to be long term contact between two time zones. There's not anything concrete, though, and I'm also sort of assuming that the Time Agency was a bit similar to Torchwood London- providing a vital service in the most expident manner possible.

I think we might be seeing a bit more of the 51st century in the new series, seein as it's been involved in all but one of Moffat's episodes.

(Also, I've noticed the obsession with the 51st century too; it'd be nice if they actually did start exploring a reason for that.)
