Doctor Who House, continued

Jul 28, 2009 13:40

I've been in England and Wales for about two months, only getting back about two days ago. Of course, the first thing I did when I came home was not unpack my suitcase but open my new figures. I'm happy to share with you the latest chapter of the plastic soap opera that is my dollhouse.

I love the dollhouse adventures! Is that Ianto at the end? Sideburns don't lie! Oddly enough, that weevil's face is perfectly "I've got a sonic screwdriver that's bigger than me. Nya nya!"

Haha. The way his hands and joints are shaped are perfect for holding it, too.

Hmm, we'll have to see... ^_~

I LOVE THESE THINGS!!

And all the work you put into the dollhouse is amazing. It's quite beautiful.

AND THE PTERODACTYL!!! That has to be the best comment/picture!!

And who is that other person? Is it, by chance, Ianto? :D

Thank you!
Yes, I got tired of waiting for them to release a pterodactyl figure, so I found my own. She's actually from Jurassic Park. I'm thinking of suspending her from a wire for some aerial footage.
The picture of Myfanwy and the final one were probably the hardest shots I've had to do. Both had figures in background and tight foreground, which made my camera crazy. And because of wear the dollhouse is situated, I have to squeeze into a narrow gap between the stand and a railing in order to photograph the front of the house. I'm just glad I could get a picture at all ^_^

Thank you! I like working in action figures, gives you a little more leeway for crazy than standard dollhouse dollies.

I like your icon, always thought that was a good picture of Ten.

Thank you! It's my first so the details are a little crude, but the camera thankful hides most of that.
