Wow! This is my sixth story post about the Doctor Who dollhouse! This is a big deal for me, because half the time I have trouble writing a 100 word fanfic.
Thank you! I got Ianto after I did the chapter before the last, where Jack is about to get conked in the head. As soon as I saw him, I knew he was going to be the one to save the day.
Hahahaha! he helpfully points out how Ianto is kneeling in the remains of dessert Priceless! Good luck with getting him out of his pants, though. I failed so far with my figures. Got Jack halfnaked by just putting his head onto an Angel-figure which was shirtless and barefoot. Works for me *shrugs*
I especially loved the food from the grill. Poor dollhouse, though. Doesn't it hurt you to trash it like that? It would hurt me!
They stopped showing "Dr. Who" here in Germany after the second season, so I don't know half of your figures, but it is fun nonetheless! And don't worry, some people are fanfic writers, and some do AFT. Whatever floats your boat!
There needs to be scenery and figure playsets for Torchwood - Hub, dance hall, hothouse...
That's a good idea. When I go to Jim Hanley's Universe at the end of the month, I need to look for shirtless figures to convert. Hmm, do you think I'd have to draw on the fluff on Ianto's chest?
It's strange to take apart the scenery for this story. I found that the best way to make things look real, I have to really tip things over or throw things around. For instance, in the dining room I pinched the corner of the table cloth and and gave it a short, sharp tug to make everything spill off. That was really hairy, because I have to keep an eye on all those little forks and knives so they didn't go flying out and get lost in the carpet. Same thing with Doctor Bride's makeup. Placing them by hand in a scene just doesn't look natural.
Oh, bechod! You haven't enjoyed the absolutely mad hattery of The Master, then?
LOL as for the fluff - my friend likes to photoshop a bit of scruff onto Jack's chin, or add chest hair... just an idea? But I also have used paint already, for custom figures. Here you can see a bit of my shirtless Jack (I added the bathrobe to it) - this is the Graduation day Angel figure
( ... )
Haha, very sexy. Well, Captain Jack does tend to get pretty badly hurt in the show... I could do a little hurt-comfort scene ^_~
I haven't tried taking apart any of my figures yet. TW figures are kind of hit or miss over here in terms of availablity. The release dates get announced and then they get changed, and they still haven't released figures of the full cast.
I love TW, although I was disappointed in the third season. Season 2 was tighter in terms of writing and narm, but you should still watch the first season just so you know who everyone is and what is going on in the first episode of season 2.
The Master is basically the Doctor but without the morals or love for humanity. He's all kinds of crazy.

This is unbelievably clever. You make me want to get some dolls of my own and stick them in my old dollhouse.

You should do it! The dollhouse is some of the most fun I've had in years.
