I had such a good time in New York today for Maritza's birthday. But I'm so tired from all the walking I did; I don't know how I'll manage work tomorrow!

everything tastes salty
Ugh. I had a long day, and although nothing bad happened, it was still very tiring. And when I got to my parents' I walked up the driveway which has just been repaved along with the front walk. The walk is dry - the driveway was not. Future generations will be able to enjoy the lovely trail of my 9 1/2 size sandle prints.

Doctor Who Special
Not to scare you, but this is really stupid. It's a sewing project I've been working on for a few weeks, and I've just been able to post the pictures now.

I have just had to do something which I do not wish on anyone, friend or foe. I took Bruce out of his tank, very gently pried open his jaw with my fingertips, and reached into his mouth so I could pull out the piece of bark caught on his teeth.
