Some people never give second chances or realize that a person is trying to change. What kills people in that situation is, that without the reinforcement of the change as a positive, the negative reactions only tell you that the improvements aren't working. This isn't true. These people are embittered or oblivious, and in either event unreliable mirrors through which to see reflections of your personality.
As long as you keep your musical drive alive, you will come through anything that appears in your way. Oh, and as a bonus, I'm seriously considering coming to Denver or the surrounding area sometime in the next year. One way trip if I do it, but it might be worth it. We shall see what happens, but I'll try to remember to post it to my LiveJournal. Sad that LJ has become a ghost town these days, but maybe it's kind of better this way.
