"If your erection last more than 4 hours, contact your doctor!"

I just saw Michelle Rodriguez on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. She was talking about spiders, especially 'daddy long legs'. The way she was citing little-known facts about them reminded me so much of Dom! Apparently she likes science and mechanics and generally likes to know what's going on around her ( Read more... )

oooh...that sounds vaguely scary and intriging all at the same time. I would say that I'm ok with most bugs as long as I know where they are and where they are going. It's when I don't know where they are that they freak me out. Or if I'm not sure how fast they can get on me. LOL!!

Hopefully though, my mom's condo will be sans bugs. At least the really creepy crawly kind.

Actually, Hawaii is better than most tropical places that way.

Lol. I know just what you mean. I hope you see some geckos in HI. They don't move much, eat the occasional mosquito, and make a cute clicking noise. That's my kind of critter!

Hey are you still going to be to busy to come to our con? We have room for only one more person and I just wanted to be sure. I really do wish you could come. **hugs**
You know I've learned to appreciate bugs more too because of my fandom, must be Dom. ;D

Hey, thanks for thinking of me for the con. :) Unfortunately things are still way up in the air for me and I won't know what I'm doing for weeks or months yet. And no matter what works out, there's very little chance I'll have $$ or time to travel then. =/

Hey, I was in the tropical sections of Australia -- stuck there too, because there was an airline strike and they stopped flying --

So. "Is that a bug of some kind or just a small automobile of forgeign make with legs?" Yeah. That about sums it up.

LOL!! I'd love to see that-- on my own terms, though, and preferably not stranded...

Once I went to an island with the idea of hiking to a crater where they have beetles "the size of dinner plates". But something (unseen) stung me, and my foot swelled up to the size of a football and I couldn't make the hike.
