PITA

Jul 08, 2010 21:10

I have noticed that I'm a major pain in the ass when I'm not writing.

BUT

When I'm writing I drop off the face of the earth.

Which is better?

Awww!

Well, I should post MORE, not less... I just never seem to come up with good ideas for posts, though.

I don't think of good ideas for posts either, I just write the stuff that keeps rattling around in my head. Sometimes things I can't tell anyone else just to get some feedback.

Whenever I do come up with an idea for a post, by the time I come home to write it, I've forgotten what it's about. I hoped having the iPad with a Wordpress app would help, but I've been too busy lately to even pull it out of my bag and jot something down.

I'm sure I'll come up with something...

Somehow...

Which do you enjoy more, being a pain in the ass to your loved ones or writing?

Some people really enjoy being a pain in the ass.

I think being a pain in the ass is my default setting, but I'd really rather be writing.

There's a standing joke at my workplace about that default setting of mine. If I say, "I'm bored", people need to evacuate in a quick, orderly fashion (someone even made a sign).

We work in a lab. I'm a chemist. Do you know how much trouble I can get in while alleviating my boredom?

(lucky for them, the "I'm bored" phenomenon doesn't happen very often, but I'm happy just doing dishes if it comes to that)
