I made a decision some time ago to rewrite The Book and to give it one last shot before trunking it once and for all. Everyone who has read it has liked it, but from the publishing point of view, it's not there yet, missing some important aspects that, in retrospect, I agree are missing ( Read more... )

I should know this, but I have a horrible memory sometimes. What's the genre? I haven't read the original, but if it's the kind of book I typically read I can give it a try.

Although recently I did pick up a few books which received good reviews and I hated the writing style/tone and couldn't get past the first page. So I don't know how good of a reviewer I'd be!!

The Book is urban fantasy.

And a lot of times I will read a book that has rave reviews, has hit the bestseller list, etc. etc. But it turns out I can't get into it. I'm no different than you :)

It is the novel of yours that I read already? If not, I'd be happy to read it since you're looking for new sets of eyes.

I might could get through it over the long weekend that's coming up, but it MIGHT take a couple of weeks, just as a warning.

My turn-around time seems improved, though, as of late.

No guarantees on turnaround time, but I'll be glad to take a crack at it. I haven't seen any earlier drafts.

It's not the "full" book, just the first three chapters, and I can shoot you some specific questions to answer after you've read them, if it makes it easier?
